[3 Ohio].2 20 July 1860, Mariah and her husband David were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Truro Township. Enumerated in this household were D. K. Wood [51 New Jersey], his wife: Mariah [44 New York], children: Sarah [20 Ohio], Mary Ann [15 Ohio], & Frank G. [5 Ohio]. D. K. is a farmer.3 11 July 1870, Mariah and her husband, David, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Truro Township. Enumerated in this household were David Wood [62 New Jersey], his wife: Maria [55 New York], children: Frank [16 Ohio], & Sarah [30 Ohio - clerk in store]. David is a shoemaker.4 26 June 1880, Mariah and her husband, David, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Smith Township, Mahoning County, Ohio. Enumerated in this household were David Wood [73 New Jersey] & Maria [66 New York]. He is a gardner.5 Mariah's husband, an unknown person , died on 16 November 1881 in Smith Township, Mahoning County, Ohio, leaving her a widow. Mariah departed this life on Wednesday, 15 October 1884 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, at age 69 years, 7 months and 17 days.6
