Samuel was born in 1623 in Whitchurch, Shropshire, England. In 1638, Samuel immigrated to the New Haven Colony. Samuel married Elizabeth Cleverly on 7 September 1642 in New Haven County, Connecticut, at the First Congregational Church. He and Elizabeth were blessed with 6 children. Samuel departed this life on Friday, 28 December 1663 in New Haven County, Connecticut. The inventory of Samuel's estate was taken in October 1664.
