Hannah Hosmer

Hannah was born in Connecticut. She was the daughter of Thomas & Frances [Bushnell] Hosmer.1 Hannah married 2nd William Maltby, son of John Maltby and Mary Williamson, before 27 February 1685 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. She was first married 20 March 1656/1557 to Josiah Willard of Wethersfield who died in 1674. Her father Thomas Hosmer mentions her in his will of 1685 as noted by a clause "I bequeath to my daughter Hannah Maltby the reversion of Joshiah Willard's estate which I hold". He was one of the first settlers of Hartfuord, Connecticut, arriving with the Thomas Hooker party. It is assumed Hannah died before before 7 August 1693 in Branford, New Haven County, Connecticut, as her husband was remarried on this date. She was still living as of the writing of her father's will.
