Enumerated in this household were Philander Hopkins [56 Vermont], his wife: Deboah [53 New York], children: Marilda [16 New York], Philander [13 New York], & laborer: Hiriam Dray [34 New York].² 5 June 1860, Philander and his wife, Deborah, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Unadilla Township, Livingston County, Michigan. Enumerated in this household were Philander Hopkins [67 Vermont], his wife: Deborah [63 New York], children: Philander [23 New York], Enulius W. [10 New York], farm laborer: Aulliville J. Titus [35 New York], Alpheus C. Titus [5 Michigan], & Martha N. Titus [25 New York].³ Philander departed this life on Saturday, 20 April 1861 in Unadilla Township, Livingston County, Michigan. After 20 April 1861, Philander was buried at the Williamsville Cemetery, Unadilla Township, Livingston County, Michigan. He was noted as age 67.6.28 years.⁴
