     William was born circa 1644 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. William married Sarah Marshfield on 22 November 1676 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. He was reprimanded by the Northampton court for wearing long and other extravagances contrary to sober order. He was a weaver by trade.1 William departed this life in December 1711 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.
