     John was born before 28 May 1618 in Bristol, Avonshire, England. On 28 May 1618, he was christened in Bristol, Avonshire, England.2 John married Joanna Treat, daughter of Richard Treat and Alice Gaylord, circa 1641.3 He was made a freeman at Weymouth in 1643. John made his will on 1 January 1665 at Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut. He left to his wife, Joanna, his estate. He also mentions his children: John, Thomas, Joseph, Lazarus Setphen, Mary, Elizabeth & Sarah.4 John departed this life on Friday, 3 April 1665 in Wethersfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.4
