Anne-Catherine was born on Wednesday, 27 March 1709 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 28 March 1709 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Anne-Catherine married Joseph Gouin, son of Joseph Gouin and Marguerite Roy, on 6 March 1734 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.² Anne-Catherine's husband, Joseph, died on 18 December 1760 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade leaving her a widow. Anne-Catherine departed this life on Sunday, 30 August 1795 in Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade at age 86 years, 5 months and 3 days. She was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne-de-La-Perade on Monday, 31 August 1795.³
