     William was born circa 1590 in Ware, Hertfordshire, England. He may have been baptized at Great Amwell as the records between October 1586 to May 1590 are missing. William married Mary Cramphorne on 10 February 1617 in Great Amwell, Herefordshire, England, at St. John the Baptist Church. William & Mary had children: Mary [5/10/1618], Isaac [5/21/1620-12/29/1694][m. 12/16/1650 Mary Davis] & daughter [11/27/1621-11/27/1621]. William's wife, Mary, died before 24 November 1621 in Great Amwell, leaving him a widower. William married 2nd Mary Perry on 22 January 1623 in Gilston, Hertfordshire, England. William & Mary had children: Peleg [1/30/1625-11/18/1671][m. Susanna], Mary [9/02/1627-12/07/1674][m. 1643 George Spear] & Hannah [11/05/1629][m. Isaac Jones]. On 22 June 1632, William & his wife, Mary, left from London aboard the ship, "Lion", mastered by Captain Mason, bound for New England. They disembarked at Boston Harbor. William departed this life in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He was buried there on Thursday, 30 May 1652.
