     Sir Thomas was born circa 1330 in Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire, England. Sir married Maud Grey, daughter of John, 2nd Lord Grey of Rotherfield and Avice de Marmion, circa 1370 in England.1 According to a court settlement, Sir Thomas succeeded his brother in mostof the Harcourt estates. He went to Ireland in 1361 in the company of his step-father, Ralph Ferrers, the Captain of Calais. In 1366, he was knighted and was for many years in litigation over Ellenhall. In 1371, he bribed each of the jurors and regained possession of Ellenhall. He sat in the Parliament of 1375 & of 1376 as a representative of Oxfordshire. Sir departed this life on Saturday, 12 April 1417 in Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire, England.
