     Osmond was born in Yorkshire, England. Baildon is located in the western part of Yorkshire, England. It is about six miles north of the city of Bradford. It was originally a village on the south-eastern shoulder of a flat-topped hill overlooking the River Aire. The Baildon hill covers about six square miles and has an elevation of 927 feet avobe sea level at the summit. The village and the Baildon family take their name from this. Osmond departed this life in 1066 in Yorkshire, England.
