Timothy Halstead1

Timothy was born circa 1636. He was son of Jonas Halstead. Timothy married Sarah Williams, daughter of Moyles Williams and Anne Pankhurst, circa 1659 in Town of Hempstead, Long Island, New Netherlands. She was married to Timothy when her step father, Henry Pearsall wrote his will 24 July 1667. 31 August 1690, Timothy was listed on the Hempstead Town Census. Enumerated in this household were Timothy Halsted, Hannah, Jonas, David, & Benjamin. [This is possibly Timothy Jr.] Timothy departed this life circa 1703 in the Town of Hempstead, Queens County, Long Island, New York. The inventory of his estate was taken by Samuel Denton & John Searing at the request of his son, Timothy Halstead Jr. 1703.2
