     Jesse was born before 2 February 1757 in Phillipse Manor, Westchester County, New York. On 2 February 1757, he was christened in Phillipse Manor, Westchester County, New York. Jesse married Margaret Maxwell in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame. Jesse was a tailor. The family first resided in Montreal. Later, they resided at his father's homestead, and afterwards at his brother, Walter's. Jesse married Elizabeth Kipp. Jesse was still living in 1803.
