Pierre Guyon

     He was christened on the same day there in the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Pierre was born on Sunday, 27 May 1674 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. He is the son of Jacques Dion & Jeanne Renard.² A contract for the marriage of Pierre and Anne-Agnes Bonhomme was signed on 20 January 1697. The notary Guillaume Roger wrote the contract stating that Pierre's parents were Jacques Guyon and Jeanne Lecointue. Also that Anne Agnes' parents were Ignace Bonhomme and Agnes Morin.³ Pierre & Anne-Agnes had children: Jacques [1/17/1698][m. 4/21/1721 Jeanne Louise Lessard dit Leparc], Pierre [1/30/1699-7/01/1714], Louis [11/10/1700-11/14/1749][m. 5/18/1728 Marie Madeleine Normandeau], Ignace [1/17/1702-10/20/1775][m. 7/27/1727 Marie-Francoise Lessard] & Francois [8/27/1703-11/16/1766][m. 1/09/1736 Marie-Josephte Allard].⁴ Pierre's wife, Anne-Agnes, died on 17 August 1703 in Ancienne-Lorette, Quebec, Canada, leaving him a widower. He married 2nd 11 August 1705 Marie Genevieve Fauteux at L'Ancienne-Lorette & 3rd 21 November 1718 Ursele Lessard at Notre Dame de Quebec.⁵
