Guillaume Guiliot dit Larose

     Guillaume was born circa 1643 in Allemans-du-Dropt, Marmande, Aquitaine, France. He was the son of Abraham Guiliot & Jeanne Desorcis. Guillaume married Genevieve Trepagny, daughter of Romain Trepagny and Genevieve Drouin, on 23 November 1676 in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.1 He was a butcher by trade. Guillaume & Genevieve had children: a son [10/16/1678-10/16/1678], Marie-Anne [2/02/1680-2/16/1680], Guillaume [8/28/1681], Charles [6/09/1684-2/24/1760], Marie Charlotte Catherine [4/13/1687-5/05/1699], Marie Genevieve [5/20/1690-11/02/1758][m. 2/08/1712 Romain Dolbec], Joseph [9/04/1694], Henri [9/04/1694-4/16/1695] & Pierre [1/21/1697-1/23/1697].2 October 1681, Guillaume and Genevieve were listed on the Canadian Census in ville de Quebec. Enumerated in this household were Guillaume Guiliot [38 years], Genevieve Trepagny [20 years], Guillaume [2 months].3 Guillaume departed this life between 10 March 1700 and 3 November 1700 in ville de Quebec. He died after 10 March 1700, the date of the baptism of Charles Binet when he was noted as husband of Genevieve Trepagny, the god mother and before the marriage of his daughter, Genevieve on 3 November 1700 where he was noted as deceased.
