Mehitable was born circa 1666 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut. She was often referred to as Mable. Mable married John Johnson, son of John Johnson and Hannah Parmelie, on 2 March 1684/85 in New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut.2,3 Mehitable's husband, John, died in 1712 in New Haven leaving her a widow. Mehitable departed this life on Thursday, 9 December 1745 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut.
