He was the son of Philip Gostling & Alice.1 On 2 March 1588, he was christened in Groton Manor, County Suffolk, England.1 Thomas married Jane Winthrop, daughter of Adam Winthrop III and Anne Browne, on 5 January 1612 in Groton, County Suffolk, England. He was a clothier in County Suffolk.2 Thomas departed this life before 25 November 1661 in County Suffolk, England.3
