Marie Anne Germain dit Belisle

     Marie Anne was born on Wednesday, 6 March 1743 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the Manor of Chevrotiere. She was christened on the same day there in the church of St-Joseph.¹ Marie Anne married Louis-Alexis Germain on 5 March 1764 in Deschambault at the church of St-Joseph.² Alexis & Marie Anne had children: Joseph-Alexis [10/20/1765], Marie Anne [3/29/1767][m. 10/15/1792 Pierre Richer dit Lafleche], Louis [m. Marie Rivard dit Lanouette] Marie-Josephe [4/28/1770-3/26/1772], Francois [8/24/1771-12/26/1847][m. 1/30/1804 Louise Marie Perrault], Marguerite [6/07/1673-7/31/1840][m. 10/07/1793 Joseph Laquerre], Antoine [3/08/1776][m. 4/14/1812 Madeleine Rivard dit Lanouette], Marie-Josephe [3/20/1778][m. 2/07/1804 Charles Dubord dit Clermont], Paul [3/23/1780][m. 7/07/1807 Marie-Anne Amiotte dit Villeneuve] & Marie-Louise [8/24/1783][m. 7/06/1802 Antoine Mayrand, son of Antoine Mayrand & Josephe Abel].³ Marie's husband, Louis-Alexis, died on 18 August 1806 in Deschambault leaving her a widow. Marie departed this life on Friday, 17 August 1821 in Deschambault at age 78 years, 5 months and 11 days. She was buried there in the churchyard of St-Joseph on Saturday, 18 August 1821.⁴
