     Madeleine was born and baptized in 1758 in Deschambault, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at the Manor of Chevrotiere. Madeleine married Jean-Baptiste Frenet on 1 July 1776 in Deschambault at the church of St-Joseph.1 Jean-Baptiste & Madeleine had children: Jean-Baptiste [2/05/1778-3/29/1856][m. 2/18/1805 Francoise Langlois], Marie Josephe [8/19/1780-4/28/1784], Joseph Marie [8/23/1782], Francois [9/21/1784], Simon [5/30/1786-7/15/1786], Francois [4/28/1788-7/24/1836][m. 2/15/1814 Madeline Matte], Pierre [10/28/1790-2/23/1867][m. 1/08/1818 Francoise Marcotte], Madeleine [6/07/1793-7/25/1793], Alexis [6/21/1794-7/04/1794], Madeleine [11/15/1795][m. 11/05/1811 Charles Chartre], Marie Marguerite [2/18/1799-3/08/1799] & Raphael [1/20/1800][m. 5/21/1822 Marie-Louise Lefebvre].2 Madeleine departed this life on Thursday, 22 May 1823 in Cap-Sante, Portneuf County, Quebec, Canada, at age 65 years. She was buried there in Ste-Familie Church on Saturday, 24 May 1823.3
