     Nancy was born on Friday, 31 March 1775 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Nancy married Jacob Beery, son of Nicholas Beery II and Mary Elizabeth Keller, circa 1795 in Rockingham County, Virginia. Nancy's husband, Jacob, died on 12 February 1842 in McCutchinsville, Tymochtee Township leaving her a widow. Nancy departed this life on Saturday, 9 November 1850 in McCutchinsville, Tymochtee Township at age 75 years, 7 months and 8 days. She was buried there in Bibler Cemetery.2

Third Generation. 2: Nancy Geil, born in Pennsylvania, in April, 1775, of German ancestry, died Nov. 9, 1850. Jacob Beery, born in Rockingham Co., Va., in 1766, died near McCutchenville, Wyandot Co., Ohio, Feb. 12, 1842; married in 1795. In a few years (1803) after their marriage in Virginia they emigrated to Fairfield Co., Ohio, and settled in the woods near where Berne Station now is; about four miles east of Lancaster, where they opened a fine farm, now owned by Frank Beery, son of Lewis, deceased.
    In 1832 this worthy family moved to near McCutchenville, Wyandot Co., Ohio, where they invested largely in government land, and accumulated a large fortune. They were a hearty, robust couple, as evidenced by their posterity, who were a matter-of-fact people. McCutchenville, Ohio.
