Marie-Marguerite Gaillou

     Marie-Marguerite was born on Wednesday, 5 November 1681 in Batiscan, Les Chenaux County, Quebec, Canada. She was christened on the same day there in St-Francois-Xavier Church.¹ Marie-Marguerite married Antoine Lecuyer, son of Antoine Lecuyer and Anne Rabady, on 25 November 1698 in Batiscan at St-Francois-Xavier Church.² Antoine & Marie-Marguerite had children: Marie Francoise [2/10/1703-7/04/1800][m. 1/22/1731 Francois Jobin dit Boisvert & 2nd 2/26/1736 Pierre Ricard], Marie-Josephe [3/15/1705-5/22/1768][m. 11/07/1729 Joseph Jobin dit Boisvert, 2nd 4/25/1735 Pierre Limousin & 3rd 12/31/1741 Etienne-Joseph Trunet], Marie Madeleine [1707-12/30/1797][m. 9/03/1742 Jean-Baptist Baril], Antoine [9/16/1710-4/30/1786][m. 11/12/1741 Marie Madeleine Dubord dit Clermont], Nicolas [2/11/1713-1/20/1779][m. 2/05/1742 Marie-Catherine Gervais], Marie Marguerite [1/07/1716-1/14/1740], Marie Charlotte [6/04/1718-8/19/1804][m. 1/09/1742 Louis Hamelin], Francois [9/19/1719-12/21/1739], Marie Louise [12/19/1722-1/18/1740] & Marie Anne [2/21/1726-9/10/1747].³ Marie-Marguerite departed this life on Sunday, 5 October 1755 in Batiscan at age 73 years and 11 months. She was buried there in the churchyard of Ste-Genevieve on Monday, 6 October 1755.⁴
