Elizabeth Fryer

Elizabeth was born circa 1727 in Calvert County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Fryer. She was married circa 1746 to Edward Northcraft and had 5 children by him. An unknown person was a witness at an unknown person and an unknown person 's wedding 15 February 1768 at Frederick County.1 James and Elizabeth had one son, Daniel [7/01/1768][m. 2/19/1787 Sarah Burgess].2

- [S506] Note: 1767-1770 Frederick County Maryland Land Records pg 165 - James hook recorded marriage articles 15 February between James Hook of FC, and Elizabeth Northcraft, widow. Whereas a marriage is intended shortly to be solemnized, and they each have several children by their former marriages, it is agreed, that in case the intended marriage shall take effect, their several and reespective estates of which they are at present possessed, shall in no wise be affected by the said marriage but remain and be absolutely separate and distinct, and the said James Hook shall have and retain the whole management and disposal of his own estate and the said Elizabeth Northcraft in like manner, have and enjoy the whole management and disposal of her estate.
