Hannah Freeman

Hannah was born. She was the daughter of John Freeman & Mercy Prence. Hannah married John Mayo, son of Captain Samuel Mayo and Thomasine Lumpkin, on 14 April 1681 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. John and Hannah had children: Hannah [1/08/1681] [m. 5/12/1720 Judah Hopkins], Samuel [7/16/1684], Mercy [4/23/1688] [m. 626/1687 Nathaniel Hopkins], John [5/10/1691-2/01/1756] [m. 10/22/1712 Susannah Freeman], Rebecca [9/18/1692] [m. 8/12/1714 Ebenezer Paine], Joseph [10/26/1694-1/15/1771] [m. 4/17/1712 Joseph Hopkins], Joseph [12/22/1696] [m. 2/20/1718 Abigail Merrick] & Elizabeth [7/16/17062/29/1789] m. 10/18/1726 Ebenezer Nickereson. Hannah's husband, John, died on 1 February 1726 in Harwich leaving her a widow.1 Hannah made her will on 15 January 1740 at Harwich.
In her will she mentions her sons Samuel, John & Joseph Mayo and her daughters Hannah Hopkins, Rebecca Paine, Mary Hopkins and Elizabeth Nickerson. She names her son Joseph as executor.1
Hannah departed this life in Harwich. Her will was probated on 21 March 1743.1
