Josiah Fowler

     Josiah was born in 1688 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Abraham Fowler and Elizabeth Baretlett.¹ Josiah married Hannah Baldwin, daughter of Jonathan Baldwin and Thankful Strong, on 6 January 1723 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut. Josiah departed this life on Wednesday, 7 September 1757 in Durham, Middlesex County, Connecticut, at age 69 years. He was buried there in the Old Durham Cemetery.¹ Josiah and Hannah had children: Josiah [3/03/1724-5/17/1802] [m. 2/13/1752 Ruth Hall], Hannah [4/12/1725-4/__/1810] [m. 1748 Col Street Hall], Caleb [1727-1/31/1807] [m. 1759 Anne Rose] & Elizabeth [10/11/1728-12/31/1820] [m. Deacon Benjamin Maltby].
