John was born in Shryvenham, Berkshire, England.1 John married Miss (?) de Hartleigh, daughter of Father de Hartleigh and Mother (?), circa 1343 in England. John departed this life after 23 April 1361. It was on this date that in the will of his brother-in-law, Richard de Hartleigh leaves him 100 Geneva Florins to find his son if living. At this time, Richard was a Marshall & a citizen of London who lived in the Parish of St. Sepulchre - without Newgate.2
