Guillaume Fournier

     Guillaume was born circa 1623 at Orne, Normandy, France, in the parish of Coulmer. He was the son of Gilles Fournier & Noelle Gageut. Guillaume married Francoise Hébert, daughter of Guillaume Hébert and Hélène Desportes, on 20 November 1651 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Guillaume & Francoise had children: Gilles [11/26/1653-12/31/1653], Marie-Anne [5/05/1655-1/__/1716][m. 2/17/1670 Pierre Blanchet], Agathe [4/09/1657-6/08/1743][m. 9/28/1671 Louis Gesseron dit Brulot], Jacquette [4/09/1659-1/22/1736][m. 6/05/1673 Jean Prouix], Joseph [7/12/1661-12/09/1741][m. 6/25/1684 Barbe Girard], Marie Madeleine 7/17/1663-10/08/1664], Jean [3/18/1665][m. 12/31/1688 Marie-Jeanne Roy], Simon [4/27/1667][m. 11/12/1691 Catherine Rousseau], Pierre [4/23/1669-8/22/1750][m. 11/24/1695 Marie Isabelle], Marie Francoise [4/30/1671-7/15/1734][m. 4/21/1686 Jacques Boulay], Louis [4/20/1673-6/17/1721][m. 11/19/1696 Marie-Jeanne Caron], Marie Madeleine [8/03/1675][m. 5/02/1707 Pierre Laporte dit St George], Charles [6/20/1677-9/09/1739][m. 7/13/1699 Elisabeth-Agnes-Isabelle Bouchard] & a child [8/02/1679].² Guillaume departed this life on Saturday, 24 October 1699 in Montmagny, Montmagny County, Quebec, Canada. He was buried there in the parish of St-Thomas on Sunday, 25 October 1699.³
