     Thomas was born circa 1231 in England. He was a younger son.1 Thomas married Beatrice de Beauchamp, daughter of William de Beauchamp and Ida Longespee. He was a knight. He was noted as of Mendlesham, county Suffolk, Belchamp Otton, Gestingthorpe & Gosfield, county Essex, and Hammerton, Huntingdonshire.2 Thomas departed this life before 23 March 1274.
