Ann was born in the parish of St. James, South Elham, County Suffolk, England. She was christened there on 1 April 1610.2,3 Ann married Francis Chickering, son of Henry Chickering and Mary (?), circa 1633 in County Suffolk, England. In 1637, Ann and her husband, Francis, daughters Ann & Mary, immigrated from the parish of St. James, South Elham, County Suffolk, England, to New England. Among the passengers were Ann's mother, brothers John & William and sister, Martha. She was admitted to the First Church of Dedham 29 December 1639.4 Ann departed this life on Sunday, 5 December 1649 in Dedham.
