     Agnes was born in England. Agnes married Thomas Roberts circa 1499. Agnes's husband, Thomas, died before 15 April 1517 in Brenchley, County Kent, England, leaving her a widow. Agnes made her will in 1532 at Brenchley, County Kent, England.

“My bodie to be buried in the churche of Brenchley by side my husband Item I bequeath to the high aulter iiijd Item to herse ligh in the same churche iiijd Item I bequeath to every preist at my burying and month mynde that syngith mass and dirge vjd And to every other priest that saith mass iiijd Item to every Clarke that syngith iid And to every child that sygnith jd Item to poor people in peny dole & brede & drynke at my burying xiijs iiijd And at my month day vjs viijd to be geven in brede & drynke to poor people And in peny dole vjs viijd Item I will that an obet be kepte for my soul and for my parents soulless & all xren which in the parrisch churche of Brenchley a foresaid the space of vj yeres immediately after my decess And to bestow at every daye at the saide obit vjs viijd Item to the new makyng of the Roode lofte in brenchley churche xxs yf it be made with in the space of vj yeris nexte after my decease Or else I will the saide xxs do remayne to George Robart my son Item to Ann Robert daughter of the saide George immediately after my decease four golde royalls whiche I have delyvrd to my saide son George of usuall money of England also ij silver sponez & my wedding rynge that I was wedded with unto hur grauntfader also a payre of shets a towel my best cheste my pewter pott peuter bason iiij cushens my beste Fedderbed with bolster ii blanketts my coveryng of my best bed with the hangyng that belongith to the same & bolts of iron aboute the same bedd Item to John Robart son of the saide George xxs too sylver spones to be paide and delivered unto the saide John at the age of xvj yerris And yf it happen that the saide John Robart decess before the saide age of xvj yere Than I will that saide xxs remain unto the said Ann Robert and to John Robert daughters of the saide George and the ij spones to remain to the saide George my son Item I bequeath to Joane Robart daughter of the saide George when she cumyth to the age of xviij yeris ij pes pf golde called golde Royalles my beste bedes my silver hokes two silver spones my litill Fedderbed & a fyne shete of Flex. If any of the children died underage, they were each other’s heir. If all of them died, it was given to their father. “Item to Thomas Norys the son of Joane Norys my daughter Immediately after my decess a naterass a bolster A balnkett & a coveryng upon my litIl bedd Item to Richard Norys son to the said Joane Immediately after my decess iijs iiijd of sterling money.” If one of them diedunderage, the other was the heir. If both of themdied underage, the legacies were given to the daughters of Joan Norris. “ Item to Margarete and Rose my daughters to every one of them one of my gownes that is to saye to Margarete my beste gown And to Rose the next beste Item to Joane Norys my doughter A gown and a kirtill And the saide gownes & Kirtill to be delivered unto them Immediately after my decease Item to Ric Downar son of John Downar bocher at the age of xvj yeris xijd And if he decess before the saide age than I will the saide xijd unto the doughters of John Downar Item to Margarete Frier Rose Raynolde & Johan Norys my doughter to every one of them vjs viijd to be leved of the pledge which my doughter layde to me in pledge for the sum of xxs Item to Roger Tomar servaunt to George Robert my sonmy cheste Item to Robart Pelsant servaunt to the said George xiijd Item to Joane Andrew wyf of Henry Andrew xxs sterling Item to the doughters of Richard Heneeker four schets of whiche I will that Isabell schall have a flex a top shete & one of my beste pillows And the other suster schall have a payer of schets & one of my best pillows Item to Margery Robart wif to George my son my Litle cofer bounde with iron” the rest of her goods and debts was given to George, who was named executor, and given xls. For his work. Twenty poor maidens of Brenchley were given xxs. At their marriages. God daughter Denys, daughter of Thomas Kipping, was given iis. Vjd. Sir William Goward, parson of Horsmonden, Sir Thomas Northton, curate of Brenchley, Thomas Kipping, Andrew Edwarde, Thomas Austen, and son John Harte parish clerk, were witnesses.2

Agnes departed this life before May 1532 in Brenchley, County Kent, England. Agnes was laid to rest, near her husband, in All Saints Church, Brenchley, County Kent, England. Her will was probated on 7 May 1632.
