     Elizabeth was born circa 1774 in Throgs Neck, Westchester County, New York, at "Grove Farm". She ofter went by Betsey. Elizabeth married Dr. Thomas Cock on 19 January 1809 in Manhattan, New York County, New York, at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 Wall Street.1 Thomas & Elizabeth had children: Elizabeth [4/22/1811-9/25/1902][m. 6/08/1831 James Bowne Parsons]; Ann Augusta [1/20/1813-11/18/1852][m. 1/08/1834 Edward Wills], Emily Louisa [12/18/1815-1888][m. 5/10/1831 Richard Hartshorne Bowne] & Thomas [7/01/1819-6/10/1896][m. 5/17/1842 Ann Augusta Wood]. Elizabeth departed this life on Monday, 22 November 1830 in Manhattan.2 She was buried there in New York City in the Friend's Burying Ground on North Street.3
