     Jean was born on Monday, 17 September 1657 in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. He was christened there on 18 September 1657 in the Cathedral de l'Assomption.1 Jean married Marguerite LeFleur Couc before 31 December 1686 in Pays-d'-en-Haut.2 Jean & Marguerite had children: Marie Anne [1697-9/29/1752][m. 4/15/1723 Louis LaFeuillade dit Javillon], Marguerite [m. 5 May 1710 Jean-Baptiste Turpin] & Marie Madeleine.3 Jean departed this life in Detroit, Pays-d'-en-Haut. He was buried there in the cemetery of Ste-Anne on Tuesday, 21 December 1756.4
