Wilber departed this life on Friday, 20 February 1846 in Cairo, Greene County, New York, at age 95 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was buried there in First Gayhead Cemetery. His tombstone states he died February 20 ,1846 at the age of 95 years 10 months and 1 day.2
