Richard Durfee

     Richard was born on Tuesday, 29 November 1667 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. He was the son of Thomas Durfee and his first wife. Richard married Ann Almy, daughter of Christopher Almy and Elizabeth Cornell, circa 1686 in Portsmouth.1 Ann & her husband had children: Richard [1687], Mary [1689] Thomas [1691], Ann [1693], Hope [1695] & Amy [1697].1 Richard departed this life before 10 April 1700 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. His estate was probated on 10 April 1700. The inventory of his estates valued at £16 was represented and approved.1
