Mary was born on Wednesday, 26 February 1772 in New Platz, Ulster County, New York. Mary married Charles Dubois in 1790 in New Platz, Ulster County, New York. 14 October 1850, the U.S. Federal Census listed Mary living in the home of her son at New Platz, Ulster County, New York. Enumerated in this household were Derick Dubois [38 New York], Sarah J [34 New York], Isaac [15 New York], Amelia [10 New York], Mary [77 New York] & Mariah [15 New York]. Derick is a farmer aided by his son Isaac.1 Mary departed this life on Monday, 22 June 1857 in New Platz at age 85 years, 3 months and 27 days. She was buried there in New Platz Rural Cemetery. The inscription on her tombstone reads: In Memory of Mary wife of Charles Dubois who died June 22, 1857 Aged 85 years 3 mos & 26 days.2
