Robert was born in Le Pin-la-Garenne, Orne, Normandy, France. He was the son of Robert Drouin & Vincente Rouelle. He was christened there on 12 July 1565 in St-Barthelemy Church.¹ Robert married Marie Dubois in 1596 in Le Pin-la-Garenne at St-Barthelemy Church.¹ Robert departed this life in Le Pin-la-Garenne. He was buried there in the churchyard of St-Barthelemy on Thursday, 1 June 1617.¹
