1 On 27 July 1636, Jean Guyon drew up a marriage contract at the home of Robert Giffard, between Robert Drouin & Anne Cloutier, Ann being a child of only 10 years. Because of Anne's age, the marriage sacrement was not preformed until a year later. The contract stipulated that there would only be non-conjugal visits for another two years after the marriage. It is the oldest marriage contract in existance in Quebec.

7 On 26 July 1664, their marriage contract was adjusted because of some of its complications. 1666, Robert and Marie were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Montmorency, Quebec, Canada. Enumerated in this household were Robert Drouin, brick maker [60 years], Marie Chapellier [42 years], Jeanne [20 years], Nicolas [14 years], Pierre [12 years], Marguerite [10 years], Etienne [8 years], Catherine [6 years] & Jean Baptiste [4 years].
8 1667, Robert and Marie were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Montmorency. Enumerated in this household were Robert Drouin, [64 years], Marie Chapellier [42 years], Nicolas [15 years], Marguerite [12 years], Etienne [10 years], Catherine [7 years] & Jean Baptiste [5 years].
9 1681, Robert and Marie were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Montmorency. Enumerated in this household were Robert Drouin [40 years], Marie Chapellier [60 years] & Etienne [27 years].
10 Robert departed this life on Friday, 1 June 1685 in Chateau-Richer, Montmorency County, Quebec, Canada. On the same day, he was buried there in the cemetery of La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame.
