Enumerated in this household were Walter I Dripps [27 Ohio], Marie L. [25 Ohio], Edgar L. [3 Ohio] & Harold E. [7/12 Ohio]. The couple had had 2 children both living. They had been married for 5 years. Walter worked for the freight office. Enumerated in this household were Walter I Dripps [48 Ohio - widower] a lodger in the home of Reginald Schroll. He is a manager at a transfer and storage house.8 Walter married 2nd Rose Mae Dove between 1930 and 1934. 8 April 1940, Walter and his wife, Rose, were listed on the U.S. Federal Census in Marion at 619 N. Prospect Street. Enumerated in this household were Walter I Dripps [57 Ohio], Rose M. [48 Ohio] & a Lodger Mulvaine Burdell [28 Ohio - Divorced]. Mulvaine was a construction worker.9 Walter departed this life on Friday, 27 June 1941 in Marion at age 58 years, 2 months and 19 days.10 He was buried at Upper Sandusky, Crane Township in Old Mission Cemetery.
