Etienne was born circa 1627 in Epernay, Marne, Champagne, France.1 Etienne immigrated from France to Quebec in 1649 at the age of 22.2 Etienne married Anne Hayot, daughter of Thomas Hayot and Jeanne Boucher, on 28 October 1652 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.3 Etienne & Anne had children: Guillaume [8/25/1654-6/15/1715][m. 12/10/1671 Louise Vitar], Daniel [12/17/1656-9/10/1729][m. 11/19/1691 Marie Madeleine Girard], Elisabeth-Ursule [1658-7/23/1703][m. 9/11/1672 Jacques Gauthier], Etienne [1661-9/19/1731][m. 1684 Marie-Jeanne Lemay] & Jean-Baptiste [12/26/1667][m. 1714 Madeleine Tousignant dit Lapointe].4 1667, Etienne and Anne were listed on the Canadian Census in Ste-Foy, ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada.
