Marie Monique Desorcy

     Marie Monique was born on Friday, 16 December 1763 in Ile-DuPas, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Jean-Bapiste Desorcy & Therese Berard. She was christened there on 17 December 1763 in the church of La Visitation.1 She was 1st married to Joseph-Alexis Desy on 2 February 1778. Marie Monique married 2nd Charles Dandonneau, son of Charles Dandonneau and Marie Felicite Leclerc, on 29 February 1808 in Ile-DuPas at the church of La Visitation.2 Charles & Marie-Monique had a daughter, Domithilde [1809-10/09/1899][m. 7/15/1825 Pierre Valois]. Marie departed this life on Saturday, 29 April 1843 in Ile-d'Orleans at age 79 years, 4 months and 13 days. She was buried on 1 May 1843 at Ile-DuPas in the churchyard of La Visitation.3
