William de Alvers

     William was born circa 1135 in England. William married Emma Shevauchesul, daughter of Aucher Shevauchesul and Mabilia (?), in England.1 He inherited the Manor of Bourten from his father & the Manor of Tetsworth from his mother. He became known as William of Bourten, Chiselhampton, & Tetsworth. William departed this life before 1197. At this time, his son Ralph gives his lands at Tetworth that he had inherited from his father to God & the Abbey of Thame.2
