Lydia was born on Tuesday, 12 July 1701 in Monomoit, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Lydia married Thomas Nickerson, son of Lieut. Thomas Nickerson and Mary Bangs, on 16 May 1716 in Chatham. In 1712, Monomoit became incorporated and changed its name to Chatham. Lydia departed this life on Sunday, 18 October 1750 in Chatham at age 49 years, 3 months and 6 days.
