Elizabeth Couillard

     Elizabeth was born in ville de Quebec, Quebec, Canada. She was the daughter of Guillaume Couillard & Guillemette Hebert. She was christened there on 9 February 1632 in the Basilica of Notre Dame.¹ Elizabeth married Jean Guyon, son of Jean Guyon and Mathurine Robin, on 27 November 1645 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.² Jean & Elizaberth had children:Marie-Madeleine [8/23/1647][m. 11/24/1661 Adrien Hayot], Joseph [9/11/1649] [m. 1/29/1674 Genevieve Cloutier], Francois-Xavier [10/25/1651] [m. 7/14/1683 Marie Clestus], Guillaume [11/17/1652-6/21/1716] [m. 11/03/1688 Jeanne Toupin], Nicolas [2/13/1655-2/06/1685], Jean [1658], Catherine-Gertrude [8/11/1660-2/23/1715] [m. 1682 Denis Belleperche], Marie [9/04/1662-3/19/1688], Genevieve [5/30/1665] [m. 1/08/1690 Nicholas Doyon], Charles [9/29/1667-3/10/1676], Elizabeth [9/29/1667], Pierre [7/19/1670-10/021697] [m. 10/11/1694 Angelique Testu] & Anne [5/15/1674].³ 1667, Elizabeth and her husband, Jean, were listed on the Canadian Census in Comte de Montmorency, Quebec, Canada. She was buried there in the cemetery of La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame on Monday, 7 April 1704.⁵
