Pierre was born circa 1674 in Limoges, Haute Vienne, Nouvelle-Aqutaine, France. He was the son of Jean Coussi & ___ Rousse. He was christened there in St Michel des Lions.¹ Pierre married Marie-Francoise Ferre on 3 March 1699 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at the Basilica of Notre Dame.² Pierre & Marie-Francoise had children: Jean-Baptiste [6/05/1699] & Pierre-Louis [3/22/1702-12/21/1702].³ Pierre's wife, Marie-Francoise, died before 18 December 1702 in ville de Quebec, leaving him a widower. Pierre married Francoise Massard, daughter of Nicolas Massard and Anne Bellesoeur dit Lucas, on 30 April 1703 in ville de Quebec at the Basilica of Notre Dame.^4,5 Pierre departed this life on Tuesday, 24 March 1716 in ville de Quebec at Hotel-Dieu. On the same day, he was buried there in the cemetery of the Hotel-Dieu.⁶
