Catherine Coucis

     Catherine was born on Friday, 15 June 1764 in Sorel, St-Pierre-De Saurel, Quebec, Canada. She was christened there on 16 June 1764 in St-Pierre Church.¹ Catherine married Jean Baptiste Perrault on 29 September 1783 in Sorel at St-Pierre Church.² Jean Baptiste and Catherine had children: Jean Baptiste [12/15/1784], Eutache [7/03/1785-11/16/1786], Amable [9/24/1787][m. 11/27/1821 Lisette Robillard], Joseph [ 5/21/1789][m. 8/15/1814 Marguerite Mondor dit Durbois], Marie Louise [11/30/1791- 4/12/1823][m. 1/08/1822 Andre Piche dit Lamusette], Antoine [4/23/1793][m. 8/01/1820 Marie Therese Martel], Marie Josephe 4/04/1795][m. 1/17/1820 Michel Cusson], Louis [9/12/1796][m. 11/05/1822 Josephe Bergevin dit Langevin], Marie Marguerite [2/27/1798-9/15/1799], Marie Agathe [7/21/1799] & Pierre [6/21/1801-10/09/1803].³ Catherine's husband, Jean, died on 7 August 1803 in Lavaltrie, Vercheres County, Quebec, Canada, leaving her a widow. Catherine departed this life after 5 November 1822. She is noted on the marriage record of her son Louis as living on this date.
