John & Abigail had children: John, James, William, James, Joseph, Mary, Ephraim, Ebenezer, Abigail, Sarah & Lydia. In 1735, they moved from Stratford to Durham. In 1743, they moved to Southbury. Abigail departed this life in March 1747 in Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 44 years and 3 months.
