Katherine Clifton

     Katherine was born in New Buckenham, County Norfolk, England. John, Lord Clifton (d.1388), of Buckenham, Norf. by Elizabeth, da. of Ralph, 1st Lord Cromwell (d.1398.) Katherine married Ralph Greene, son of Sir Henry de Greene and Matilda de Mauduit, before February 1416. Katherine's husband, Ralph, died in October 1417 in France, leaving her a widow. Katherine departed this life on Friday, 23 March 1460.
