Walter married 3rd Freeborn Hart in 1681 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island. Walter's wife, Freeborn, died on 10 January 1710 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island, leaving him a widower. Walter married 4th Sarah Prior, daughter of Matthew Prior and Mary (?), on 31 August 1711.3 Walter departed this life on Wednesday, 23 May 1714 in Newport, Newport County, Rhode Island.
