Peletiah Clark

     Peletiah was born on Monday, 5 March 1714 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. He was the son of William & Mary [Day] Clark. Peletiah married Anna Sutliffe, daughter of Sgt. Nathaniel Sutliffe and Sarah Savage, on 26 June 1735 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. The family resided in Haddam. Peletiah's wife, Anna, died on 16 March 1739 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut, leaving him a widower. Peletiah married 2nd Elizabeth Sleed on 4 December 1740 in Connecticut. Peletiah departed this life before 18 September 1754 in Haddam, Middlesex County, Connecticut. The inventory of Peletiah's estate was taken on Wednesday, 18 September 1754. It was valued at £2860 6 shillings.
