Hawisia was born. Hawisia married Sir William Bagot, son of Sir Richard Bagot and Christiana Mauveisin, circa 1274.1 Hawisia's husband, William, died before November 1290 in the Manor of Bagot's Bromley, Staffordsire, England, leaving her a widow. In 1293, Hawisia and her son John entered into a quit claim arrangement to guarantee her dower rights; On the de Banco Roll Michealmas, 18-19 Edward I [November 1290], William Tarpele sued his son, John Bagot of Bromley. His son had, by now, come into the possession of his father's estate.2,3

- [S929] Staffordshire Record Society, Collections of a history of Staffordshire, Volume 11: Page 23 - Sir William had a wife named Hawyse or Avice, but her pparentage is unknown: the abstracts of the Blithfield deeds made for Lord Bagot by Mr Hamper show that he left two sons, John and William, and aa daughter Sibillia, whbo married William, son of Alured de Sulney, of Newton Sulney, co. Derby. Of these sons, John succeeded him at Bromley, and named on thre Subsidy Roll of 1 E. III. [1327] as holding land in Blythfield.

I., William de Tarpele sued John Bagot of Brumley Bagot for distraining him to perform suit at his Court of Brumley Bagot, against the form of feoffment. As deed No. 47 shows he was alive on the 16th of September, 1290, Sir William must have died between those two dates.
