Symon married Thomasine (?) in 1635 in Wrentham, County Suffolk, England.1 Symon and Thomasine had children: Symon [8/14/1636-10/13/1659] & Elizabeth [12/9/1638] [m. Robert Crispe of Wrentham]. [Baptismal & Burial dates]1 Symon's wife, Thomasine, died before 5 August 1641 in Wrentham, leaving him a widower. Symon married 2nd Prudence (?) circa 1642 in Wrentham.1 Symon and Prudence had children: Mary [11/02/1643], John [2/05/1645], Nathaniel [10/08/1647-1699] [m. 12/30/1668 Mary Judson], Daniel [3/09/1653-1/21/1661], Sarah [12/29/1654-1/26/1657] & Sarah [4/19/1659]. [Burial dates]2,1 Symon made his will on 8 July 1674.

The Will of Simon Chickering of Wrentham in the County of Suffolk, taylor, 8 July 1674. To wife Prudence for life the messuage wherein I now dwell, together with all lands and pastures thereunto belonging, both free and copy; and after her decease said estate to be sold by my good friends francis Morse the elder, of Wrentham, yeoman, and John Rix of the said town, yeoman, the money arising thereupon to be equally divided between my four youngest children. Mary, John, Nathaniell and Sarah. To daughter Elizabeth, now wife of Robert Crispe of Wrentham £5 from the sale of my house and land. All the rest of goods and personal estate to my wife , whom I make sole executrix for the payment of debts.

Symon departed this life in Wrentham. His will was probated on 22 August 1674.4
