Lydia was born in the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. Lydia married David Howell II, son of David Howell I and Mary Parshall, on 18 September 1748 in Mattituck in the Town of Southold at the Presbyterian Church.1 David and Lydia had children: George [1/23/1749-4/02/1849] [m. 1775 Eunice Horton], Jemima [7/101755-6/25/1811] [m. 4/00/1775 Silas Howell], Benjamin [circa 1759- 5/10/1849] & Ezra [10/12/1762-6/21/1851] [m. 1787 Jane Chatfield].
